DELTAS

Boogie Disease(1981)

This is the first album from one of the wildest acts of the early 80´s  and just the second album, that was released by famous Nervous Records. Although it sounds more like a Rockabilly classic, there are some wild, early Psychobilly elements there too. It includes some well played cover versions like the title tune, but also some fine material, penned by themselves. Highlights: Victim Of My Love, Heart Attack and Long Black Train.

Mad For It(1986)

Nearly five years after their first issue, The Deltas released "Mad For It" in 1986. The album is a solid mix of Blues, Rockabilly & Psychobilly elements. The Deltas added a second guitar (well known Boz Boorer, who also produced this album). Among the highlights are two brilliant covers of  The Cat and Hit The Road Jack. Other highlights are Whip It Up and Gimme The Drugs. Both songs also appeared on the "Magnificent Seven" compilation.
