FRENZY

Frenzy are a 3 piece band, formed in  1983.Frenzy came to be in a music shop in Bristol, when Steve Whitehouse (v/b) and Simon Brand (v/g) were playing around one Saturday afternoon. The rest, as they say, is history. Steve Whitehouse  had already found success with his previous band " The Sharks ". Merv Pepler completed the lineup on drums. Using old contacts, the band soon signed a record deal.

Frenzy became a headlining act within a year of forming, creating early classics like "Robot Riot" or "Cry or Die" . The single " I See Red " reached number 3 in the UK Independent Charts in 1986 and remained in the Top 30 for 27 weeks. The album "Clockwork Toy" hit # 8.

In a career spanning more than 20 years , Frenzy have toured the world , reaching places like Holland, Spain or Japan. The band had also undergone several lineup changes over the years, with only Steve remaining from the original lineup.

In December of 2002, Frenzy released their 10th album " Dirty Little Devils". Steve Whitehouse, best known as one of the best slap bass artists in the circuit, is now joined by Steve Eaton (g) and Rob Chapman (d).
